Woodstock man steals hockey stick from local business on Humboldt Jersey Day.

Canadians all across the country donned jerseys in a massive show of support for the victims of the Humboldt Broncos bus crash.

**** UPDATE:  Good news.  Following tips from the public, and some co-operation between London & Woodstock police, a 29 year old Woodstock man has been charged with theft and breach of probation, and he is expected to appear in court on May 8th.

Today is Humdoldt Jersey Day, in honour of the Humboldt Broncos junior hockey team involved in the tragic accident last weekend that left 16 people dead.

We saw an amazing outpouring of support today, and we tried to talk about as many of the local initiatives as we could this afternoon.

However, it seems not everyone was in the mood to honour the Humboldt Bronco’s.

Our friends at The Comfort Guy in Woodstock were marking Jersey Day today…

Literally minutes after this photo was taken, a thief stole the hockey stick from the front of the store.

Can you identify the individual below?

Contact Woodstock Police, or The Comfort Guy, if you have any tips or information that will lead to the arrest of this individual.
