On scene, their investigation showed the victims were approached by two male suspects who allegedly pulled a knife and a firearm on the victims. They were both said to be in stable condition after the incident and one has since been released from hospital. The other remains hospitalized.

The suspects fled before police arrived on scene, but a 22-year-old London man was found nearby and arrested in connection with the case. Police allege he was in possession of a firearm.
