WATCH: Chris Labelle honours front line workers with new video & song

This is so awesome.

Former River Town Saints frontman Chris Labelle has touched hearts across Canada with his new tribute to front line workers.  Titled “Frontliners”, the single & video honour those working to keep us safe in these uncertain times.

Chris talked about the inspiration & process in the official press release:

1 week ago today I couldn’t sleep so I sat down and started strumming my guitar and I ended up writing a song called Frontliners. I asked friends and fans to send me images of them working on the front line and my inbox blew up. In the next few days I recorded the song and then shot the video. I couldn’t wait to share it with everyone because we all have friends and family who are risking everything continuing to work on the front lines. I posted the video on Facebook on Friday the 24th and I woke up Saturday morning and the video had almost 250 shares and has continued to climb by the hour !!! We have over 1000 now as I write this). The son g has exceeded what I had intended it to do and really struck a cord with just about everyone right now.

Check out “Frontliners” below.

Don’t forget to share this blog and/or video to spread the word!

P.S.  A special congratulations to Chris & his wife, who welcomed Baby Grayson Labelle to the world yesterday.
