Week 4 – Women’s Health Program w/ Our Clinic

This week at Our Clinic I got to meet with their amazing Food Nutritionist Emily! Food and Nutrition was one of the aspects of the Our Clinic program I was most looking forward too.

 

Meet my Husband Eric – Ever since last year, Eric has decided to chance his life for the better. He quit smoking, started to work out and took up Brazilian Ju Jitsu. Eric has been trying to get buff for a while now and eats a TON of protein. Since we are married and live together, we were eating the same portions and meals. Problem? Eric was actually working out. I was working in an indent in the couch (thus resulting in me looking like Winnie the Pooh).

 

 

Thanks to Emily at Our Clinic – we realized that I was eating too much protein for someone of my activity level. She also educated me on protein alternatives (other than red meat). So she put together some AMAZING meals for me to try! Here they are below with their recipes. Feel free to steal and try them all out on your own!
