Canadian Singer/Songwriter, Stacey Zegers, has come a long way since growing up on her dads farm. As a result of listening to such singer/ songwriters like Jewel, Tom Petty, Neil Young and Shania Twain, Stacey knew her destiny was much the same. Her debut album “Famous” is graced with such musical legends as Jimmy Nichols (Faith Hill, Tim McGraw), Bruce Bouton (Reba McEntire, Garth Brooks) and Chris Rodrigues (Kenny Loggins, KeithUrban). All of whom played and performed with Stacey at her Nashville CD release party as well as her SOCAN showcase on the Billy Block show.
A dynamic and energetic stage performance, coupled with a genuine passion for music and listeners alike, it’s no surprise that in Stacey’s young career, she plays over 100 shows a year TOURING across Canada, Netherlands, Germany, England and much of the United States.
Stacey caught the attention of the nation when she appeared on CMTs Karaoke Star and Casting Call. As well, two of her singles were heard on the popular CMT original reality series “Unstable”.
Her debut single “Livin the Dream” put Stacey on the map as one of Canadas’ top 5 Independent Country Artists. And reached #33 spot on the Canadian Female Country Charts. Staceys’music can be heard on country radio across Canada as well she has been featured on stations in Holland, Australia and the United States.
Stacey is quickly proving she is a musical force to be reckoned with by herself and when she is performing with Runaway Angel.
