London’s Olympian Celebration

Join us at Labatt Park to celebrate the incredible accomplishments of our London Olympians!

About this event

It’s time to celebrate!

We all cheered, yelled at our TVs and celebrated as we watched our London athletes compete in Tokyo, and now it’s time to let them hear those celebrations!

Tourism London in partnership with the City of London has organized an Olympic Celebration, and we would love to have you join!

In attendance will be: flag-bearer for the Opening Ceremony and women’s basketball team member, Miranda Ayim; Olympic champion in the 100m butterfly, Maggie Mac Neil; member of the gold medal winning women’s eight team, Susanne Grainger; women’s coxless four rower, Jennifer Martins as well as Closing Ceremony flag bearer and decathlon champion, Damian Warner.

The ceremony will include formal introductions, a question and answer session with the athletes led by Mike Stubbs and an opportunity to provide the loud cheers these athletes were missing while competing in Tokyo. Unfortunately, autographs and individual photos with the athletes will not be permitted.

Tickets will be available starting at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday, August 21, 2021. A total of 3,300 people can attend, and tickets will be available on a first-come, first-served basis. A maximum of six tickets per purchase will be allowed. Tickets must be shown at gate to gain entry into the park. No walk ups will be available on event day. All COVID-19 protocols will be in place and masks will be mandatory for all guests entering Labatt Park but can be removed once seated.

General parking will not be available on site, however there will be a limited number of accessible spots available. There are several public parking lots and street parking options within close proximity to the venue.

We can’t wait to see you and celebrate the incredible accomplishments of our London athletes!
