A Parade of Pets and People is a walk geared to a distance of choice for the participants. It is a family friendly event that encourages participants to collect pledges to raise funds for the organization. It is an annual fundraising event that supports Autism Dog Services Inc., a registered Canadian charity, operating since 2010 that supports families affected by autism or other related disorders. Expertly trained service dogs are placed with these children/families and offer safety, independence and companionship. As well as the walk, there will be a BBQ lunch, a silent auction/raffle, a car show and motorcycle rally as well as visits from Brantford Police, Fire and Paramedics.
