Raised on their family farm in rural Ontario, Jenna and Stuart Walker, signed their first major record deal with Universal Music in 2017. Their second single “Long Live the Night” kicked off what would become a massive 2018, rapidly achieving platinum-certification and numerous other accolades. The momentum continued to build with the release of their debut EP, “Feels Like That”, which was awarded the 2019 CCMA for Album of the year. The title single, “Feels Like That” was also the Reklaws first #1 at Canadian Country Radio and is certified Gold in Canada.

2019 has been nothing short of a humbling year for the duo; completing their first national tour with Dean Brody and Dallas Smith, earning their first JUNO nomination for “Country Album of The Year”, releasing their first full-length album, and receiving their 3rd Gold Single for “I Do Too”.

The duo was nominated for Group of the year in all genres at the 2020 Junos which is the first time this has happened in over 20 years. Already amassing over 70-million global streams, The Reklaws are poised to be Country’s next superstars.

EVENT:
Purple Finale 2020 is presented by the University Students’ Council of Western, Huron University College Students’ Council, Brescia University College Students’ Council, King’s University College Students’ Council, and PremierLife. The event will include a 19+ licensed section.

GUEST POLICY:
Tickets must be purchased by Western students with a student ID valid for the 2019-2020 school year. Each Western student is eligible to bring ONE non-Western guest (a total of TWO tickets per Western student). Any non-Western guests must be accompanied by a Western student for entry into the concert.

TICKET POLICY:
Tickets will be available through the Brescia, Huron, and King’s Students’ Councils, The Purple Store, and online through Eventbrite. All ticket sales are final; no refunds will be issued. Artist and program subject to change without notice.
