Clear out your ‘Electronic Junk Drawer’ at Budweiser Gardens on Sunday, September 10th
The OVG360 venue management team at Budweiser Gardens is proud to partner with Waste Connections of Canada to host a FREE Electronic Recycling event on Sunday, September 10th from 11am to 3pm which will give Londoners the opportunity to safely dispose of any old electronic devices that they may have lying around their homes or offices.
In addition to providing the bins for recycling old electronics, Waste Connections of Canada will also have a shred truck available so that confidential documents can be shredded on site conveniently and worry free.
“After a 2-year break, we are excited to once again host this great community event and hope that folks will utilize this opportunity to clear out old cell phones, computers and other electronics in a safe and environmentally friendly manner” said Brian Ohl, General Manager of Budweiser Gardens. All electronics will be accepted but please refrain from bringing any major appliances such as fridges, stoves, washers, dryers, and freezers as they will not be taken. All metal and plastic items such as paper clips, staples and binders must be removed for items to be shredded.
Parking and drop off for the event will be available in the West Parking lot which can be accessed off Ridout St. While there is no cost to drop off items, Waste Connections will be accepting donations for their annual Christmas Promise Bike Build initiative in which employees from across North America raise money to build bicycles to give to charities for kids in need. Now in their 23rd year, the company has donated over 43,000 bikes.
